Question Some Issues After Upgrading

Please Login to Remove!

After upgrading OS from 4.7.148 and upgraded BBM to 5...

1) I noticed a significant memory loss. With .148 after clearing the log and pulling the battery I'd have about 52meg free. After updating, pulling the battery twice, clearing the log, then pulling the battery again I only have 44 meg free. Is such a drop in memory after upgrading typical? I did not wipe the phone before doing the upgrade since I couldn't find any WIPE options in DM. How do I wipe the phone? Is it hard/dangerous?

2) The ability to launch the keyboard from the applications screen has been removed. Can I get it back? With .148 I had to clear the log and pull the battery at the end of every day. In order to get to the keyboard to clear the log now I had to assign the keyboard to the side button. Is clearing the log and pulling the battery daily as critical with the new OS as it was with .148?

3) There are two items in my log that now refuse to be deleted. They're identical. I want to get rid of them. How do I do that? They are:

Thank you in advance for your help.
