How do I cancel VZNavigation?
 

I bought it for a month for an emergency use and I want to get rid of it now but can't figure out how?

I asked Verizon in advance how to activate it for a short period of time and they told me to call them to cancel it. There may be a way to do it through the phone but that's what they told me.

Pick up the phone, call CSR and ask that they cancel it.

EXACTLY - they told me from the start when I was ready to stop using I MUST call in to Customer Services...It would be nice to turn on and off throught the phone; once the apps in place if you get lost, turn it on for a day then back off, but I'm sure it's a way for them to talk you into keeping it!

I don't even know if I turned this on with my phone. I suppose I can check online with MyVerizon? Guess I should find out. No need for it.

Call Verizon, terminate the service and delete the app from your phone.

That app is a gremlin. It arbitrarily activates itself even when the service isn't running. I never activated it and when I finally went to delete it, it was up and running.
