Default Will Storm 2 (9550/Verizon) work on Tmobile with 3G?

Please Login to Remove!

Looking to purchase a storm 2 (9550) from verizon tomorrow afternoon and have it unlock. Will it work on the 3G network on T-Mobile (not sure)? Also what features will be missing if any?

It will positively NOT work on T-Mobile's 3G. The best you will have is EDGE speeds.
There are many threads about how to get a Storm to work properly on T-Mobile. It's a bit of work.

Nope. Not possible. The storm does not have the required bands for Tmobile USA 3G. The only BlackBerry that does is the Bold 9700

It will not work on T-Mobile 3G but it will work on EDGE without having to manually load service books manually now. With the first Storm that had to be done but on the 9550 and the 9520 I now have they load right from the device's Manage Internet Email link under Setup.
