Default Fastest memory card for 9550?

I Have the stock card but images load slowly - is there a fast card out there?

I dont think there is really any difference between micro sd cards.
The manufacturer may say there is but I havent seen it.
How are your images loading slowly? Is it in drawing the thumbnails?
Have had any issues on my Storm2

If you look at the micro SD card that came with the phone, it most likely will say it's a class 2 card. Go get a class 6 card. My 9530 Storm came with a class 2 and it was painfully slow. I bought a class 6 which has much faster read/write speeds and now even the very large pictures just fly across the screen. Hope this helps.

A lot of it has to do with the device process and memory, probably more than the card. I can't tell much difference from card to card.

If you don't see it say Class X, look for a "C" with a number inside of it. On the micro cards it's so small that it looks like a circle with a number inside of it.

I believe that mine is either a San Disk or a Kingston. Either way both are good cards. There are also newer cards out there that are above class 6 now. Those have even faster read/write speeds, but I have yet to try any of those out. I'm happy enough with the speed of the class 6, even on pictures taken on a 6MP camera and I didn't resize them to fit the resolution of the Storm.

I can tell you without a doubt thatcards with faster write speeds make a huge difference in how fast you can take photos AND view them. There is a ceiling however going from a class 2 to 6 will definitely speed things up. It's no different than when you change out the factory card on a digital camera for one with a faster write speed. The camera takes and views the photos much faster due to the card speed.

The card that came with my 9530 had more capacity than the 2 gig card I picked up with a faster write speed. My photos loaded up much quicker after the install.
