Do you have BB data plan from your carrier?

if it is a Verizon 9550 try dialing ##000000 and hit send. Then edit the phone number to yours. Save and reboot.

If it is a Telus 9550 you will need to get the MSL code from Telus. They will need to punch in your IMEI number to get it.
