Default Email alerts for multiple email accounts

Please Login to Remove!

On my first Storm I had one alert for my work email account and a different alert for my Comcast account. I picked up my Storm 2 today and I can't figure out how to do this. Help?

Find the profiles icon and go from there. Edit the profile alerts for each email account, browser, calendar, phone, etc. as you desire.

Thanks Ira. I've been to the Sounds Profile and I pick Set Ring Tones/Alerts. I've been using Medium. I click Messages to expand it. I see Email, Level 1, MMS, PIN and SMS Text. Behind Email, in brackets, is my Comcast account. I'm trying to add a second Email profile for my work account.

You need to open up Email Settings under setup and add the new account there.
Then it will show in the profiles.

Thanks again for the reply. I already have two accounts. One is my Comcast account and the other is my account from the BES. I'm trying to get different email alerts for each account.

When you edit a profile, don't you see the two email addresses listed?

PaperGuy, there's more to your issue than I understand. If you have two email addresses installed, then I don't know why you don't have profile options for each one.

You might take a look at the BES section at http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/BlackBerry_FAQ and see if there's an explanation there.

All fixed. I had to have to re-activate the BES account. After a wipe and activation, I now have two email options. Thanks everyone.
