okay, so i have an unlocked storm and i went through the whole process of getting it ready for att, but whenever i try to make a call or do anything, it still shows my phone number (on the call screen) as the old users number.

how do i fix this? can anyone give me any advice? this is my first time using a blackberry but not my first time messing with phones like this.

You need the MSL code. I recall that the Verizon one is 000000. From the dial screen punch in:

##000000 then SEND

Then you can edit the phone number to your own and then save. The phone should reboot on its own so don't get alarmed.

If your phone is a Storm2 from Telus you will need to get the MSL code from Telus. Any Telus store can do this. You just need to give them your IMEI number.
