I just got a storm 2 yesterday. I used to have a curve. What do you all think of the storm 2. Is it good?

I love my Storm2. It's great, great typing, nice device, speedy and a great screen.

Do you know if there is anyway to switch the location of the apps on the main screen. Like I want to arrange them in the way I use the most and am wondering if I can do this.

Yes, just like any other BlackBerry... touch the app icon to highlight it (don't click it) and then press Menu > Move. Then touch the location you would like the icon to be. And click to put it there.

I would suggest you read through this 9500 section of our forum here for MANY tips and help on the Storm.

Thanks for the help. I do have another question though. Whenever I move my storm it starts beeping very quietly. Why does it beep?

Wirelessly posted

I have had my Storm 2 since its official launch (Verizon) and have never heard any beeping during moving. What carrier are you with?

I've had my Storm 2 for 3 weeks, and I have to say it is the best phone I have ever had. I'm on my 4th different blackberry in 7 years, and I came from the Curve also. I pick up the Curve the other day just to look at it, and I don't know how my big hands ever made it function properly. LOL
