I have a small little scuff mark near the top of my storm. How do I get rid of this mark. It won't go away I tried using a cloth and it just won't go how do I get it off. The mark is bothering me.

Its a scratch. when you scratch a piece of glass with a diamond, do you expect to get the scratch out?

It's like a scuff mark. It isn't dug into the phone or anything. It's just on the surface but it won't go away.

Its still on whatever microscopic level you wish to name "dug" into the phone.
You wont be able to "get it out".

It is on surface so I know it can be removed. Can I get a reply from someone else who has any ideas.

Is it on the screen or the bezel?

It's near top right next the blackberry logo. It almost looks like the marks you get when you have fingerprints on the device. I rubbed it with a cloth and it faded a tiny bit but, it is still visible.

I dont know what the storm 2 looks like, so its the screen?
Id try with the cloth for a longer period.
the action of friction should get it off it may just take a while.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it. As I said this is a very odd mark. I felt it and there is absolutly no damage to phone it's just a scuff. I guess it's no big deal. It barely noticable expect under light.

Pretty much you'll just have to polish it out but you'll likely go right through the finish into the plastic. It's the nature of cell phones. They get marked up. Sooner or later you'll move onto a new one and get to have a nice shiney phone again. lol

a scratch is a scratch regardless. but yeah you can polish it but it's just degrading the material by removing "layers".

protective pieces that covers the whole phone -filament-ish screen protector-ish material that's made to not only be applied on your screen but your entire phone- works well in covering it. or you just purchase a replacement for that top piece and replace your current one with it.

I remember seeing a recommendation to use an auto paste (Meguiar's I think) to remove scratches. You might do a search -- I think it was in the General forums a month or so ago. I thought it was a strange recommendation at first but several people tried and verified it including I think at least one of the mods.
