I've got a 9530 I purchased in Canada, and I'm in Australia for the next 5 months. I don't really want to unlock the phone, but i've seen Universal Sim cards, a thin piece that goes over your sim and is supposed to unlock your phone to any network without unlocking the phones software.

Anyone done this before?
My phone is currently on the Bell CDMA network, and I'd have to use Optus in Aus.

You can get one cheap on ebay, but if you want reliability, definitely check out horizon wireless. Its a great place, and their codes will work right the first time

If you got this from a carrier, they may unlock it for you for free (Verizon unlocked both my Storm and Storm2)
