Question What is it doing during boot up??

Please Login to Remove!

Just for the record, and to give me something to think about during that time, what is the Storm doing when it reboots? What's going on during that progress bar and why does it take soooo long?

Thanks for indulging.

Wirelessly posted (The Dacia Sandero of data plan)

I don't have any details, but I'd imagine high tech, RIM security, system check type stuff.

Just like a pc, it starts up by running the OS to start up necessary services, those could includes cell service, make necessary connection with cell network, security settings, post start up check up for any issues. And, of course, load up any custom settings for your device, like ring tone, wall paper, screen saver, button assignment, etc.
