Default Max characters on texts

Please Login to Remove!

My wife has the storm 1 and she likes to send long texts at times. Her old BB would split them up into multiple texts once she reached the 160 max characters automatically. However this one doesn't seem to be doing that. it'll reach 160 and won't send the rest so she has to send one then continue what she was saying in another text seperately. Is there anyway of getting around that? Thanks!

To the best of my knowledge, 160 characters has always been the limit on text messages. I suspect there was a program installed on her old BB that allowed the text to roll in to the "next" message. Google a program called Beyond160. I believe this is what you are looking for.

Good luck

I've used Beyond160 and I loved it.

Beyond160. Same developer who created QuickText. Reasonably priced and very responsive support should you ever need it.
