Default 2nd sim card in the Storm 2

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone tried a 2nd sim card in this phone? I have a Storm 2 for work which I love but have an AT&T personal I have calls fowarded to my work phone but use my personal phone for outbound and text. Is there a way to use an AT&T card in the Storm 2 and 2 accounts?

If not this works for sure.

Thanks

You can't have two different accounts on the Storm2 (or any any BlackBerry), but it will certainly work on ATT, see my guide in the Sticky Notes at the top of THIS 9500 section.

I have an ATT SIM in my unlocked 9550. I have active service through Verizon and the ATT SIM also works.
I have to select one or the other for service, so if you call my ATT number it wont ring when connected to Verizon.

, thanks. But they both won't work simultaneously... correct? So that won't exactly solve the issue the OP is striving towards.

What's your process for selecting one or the other?

I change the setting to GSM from EVDO in Wireless Network setting, and then it connects to the ATT network. Change it back when done. I dont have data but I can make calls.
There are some areas here in Nebraska that have better GSM coverage through a small carrier called Viaero Wireless, so I keep the ATT plan (Go Phone Plan) for that.

Cool. You won't be able to have data, you can't have the same PIN registered on two BIS account at the same time.

The main reason I keep it is for a safety net in case I was in an area with no VZW coverage (pretty rare here, but it happens).
