Default Extreme Problems with Storm 9530

Hey,

So my berry is messed up, this morning when i woke up i saw my phones screen go completely blank with one of those error messages. So i took action and held the mute button and "end" call button to reset the phone. I then proceeded to restore my phone to get my contacts back.

A couple hours later, i realized my "call" and "end call" buttons did not work. I also realized that my phone log was gone so i couldnt access the dial pad. I then noticed that my "end call" button only worked if i held it to turn off the phone and my "call" button worked in the setup (although nothing would happen, it would just say that i pressed it).

So, i when into my contacts and just pressed a randon contact and tried to call them with the call button on the screen....nothing happened. So atm im confused and dont know what to do. Also, my phone getting the white screen of death has happened 3X before out of no where!.

sounds like you need to do a wipe of the device, and a possible.

to wipe the device
menu>options>security>depending on the os of the device, securtiy wipe may be listed here)>general security>menu>wipe handheld

there is another way to do it through the computer, but try that way first.

for the software, if you plug your device into the computer, and using the dtm, go to app loader on the dtm, and chose update software, and follow the steps listed.

that should resolve your issue.
