I searched the forum but i couldn't find a similar problem. I own a storm 9500. Recently it was giving an error (i really can't remember the error message but it was some numbers and letters starting with error: J........) but i just ignored it. Then the image on the screen started to flip(!) and sometimes it went green! I used it like that for a week. I would reinstall the OS and at that moment it wasn't a big deal for me. But then everything got worse. Now i can't turn on my phone. There's the backlight on the screen but no image! Also when i turn on the phone the signal stays red. I tried to connect it to my computer, everything seems okay. I can back up it, re-install the os. But no image.
I wonder if anybody can help me?

Sounds like you may need to wipe the phone using jlcmdr or another utility and re-install the operating system.
Do a search here and there are threads on how to do this.

The phone wasn't dropped or exposed to water. I didn't do anything like unlocking the phone or installing hybrid OS. 2-3 weeks before it was working well. Suddenly the screen went black. I tried to reinstall the OS from the desktop manager. It didn't help. I can't think of doing something other than this! I can access the phone, the data inside it. Photos, contacts, i can export and import data. But when i want to turn it on there's no image on screen just the backlight.
Weird. Any suggestions?
