Default Storm not turning on

I just did a battery pull and now my phone won't turn on. The LED light keeps blinking slowly and that's the only thing that's working. I did three more battery pulls and I still get the same thing. What's wrong with my phone?

PS: I had a full battery.

The only flicker of life I get from it is when the red light turns off I push the power button. The screen turns on for maybe a second and then shuts right off again

Try leaving the battery out for a minute or so,

This precise situation happened to my wife's Storm. (Full battery, pulled it while on..etc)
In desperation, I pulled the battery for about 20mins, then placed the battery back in and immediately plugged it into the charger. NOT a usb charge; the wall charger. Oddly.. it worked; booted up perfectly and all is good. Haven't figured out why it happened and haven't been able to replicate the strange behavior. Did send a little shiver down my spine but the only good news is that it happened to HER Storm... not mine!! (I know... rude... and seemingly uncaring... I know.)
