I recently installed a video id program and had to delete the program. Since I had installed the program it seems to have content protected the old ringtones that I had created on my phone and now I cannot apply these ringtones to my contacts any longer. What do I do now? Thanks in advance!

I would suggest moving them to your computer, if you have one. Mark them hidden then unhidden which should reapply the correct permissions and ownership.

I don't know how to hide and unhide them....sorry for being so ignorant. Also, do you know if there is a program that you can take parts of songs and save them to make your own ringtones. I am finding with this particular video program that it will not accept songs that are listed under blackberry folders so I was hoping that I could just take pieces of songs and turn them into mp3s and go from there. Any suggestions?
