You are talking about address book? And is the app icon gone? Or is the icon is there but the address book is still empty after the restore?

Where did you get the 9530? Did you get it second-hand? Is there an IT policy on it?

Connect your device to DM
Go into Backup/Restore
Click on Advanced
Select your backup file
Highlight Address Book (left column)
Click the arrows to move it to the BlackBerry.
