Question Service Books And Host Routing Table Question

Please Login to Remove!

I have an unlocked Storm 2 from Verizon and using it with Telcel in Mexico. I do not have BIS or BES (it's a company line and I'll probably won't have in the short time) but have unlimited data service. My question is: will I have any benefits if I get HRT's and SB's from Telcel if I'll not use BIS or BES? Thanks.

Wirelessly posted

You will not get service books without a blackberry data plan. No BIS or BES, no service books. Without the blackberry data plan, you will not have use of the blackberry/RIM applications that rely on data service.

I can insert a prepaid SIM card with BIS service and then download HRT's and SB's but my question is that if it'd be useful with my current plan without BIS or BES

No, the services books are useless without BIS or BES data plan provisioned on the SIM.
