If the previous OS is working fine, why update it?

The latest OS that we have would be in the yellow sticky at the top of the 9500 section, along with the directions on how to do the update.

Make sure you have the correct OS for your specific device. A 9530 OS doesn't work for a 9520, etc.

Select Storm 2, and then find the OS's.

are we saying that the Storm2 OS will work on a Storm 9500. I'd like to switch to an O2 OS so I can get the Vodafone stuff off my phone. Purely for vain reasons, I guess.

By "switching to O2" do you mean changing the branding when it starts up?

yeah, I'm on O2 with my unlocked Storm that was previously on Vodafone. I really just want to get rid of the Vodafone branding. A generic start up screen would be cool.

plus I want my desktop manager to stop offering my the vodafone music manager.

There is no way to legally change the branding.

That was my mistake RE the post above. It should not have said Storm 2.
