I used a lot of Google and search function for a suitable answer concerning my question, but unfortunately I was not able to find one. So I'm trying to grab a solution here... this is my problem:

A friend of mine made a audio livestream via RealTime streaming protocol (RTSP), an I read that my Storm 2 should be able to playback these streams with OS 5. So I tried an failed. I tried it via using the link with browser. After that, my BB opened the media player, said, that it is loading, but then two error messages appeared:

"An error occured by trying repeating media object {0}"
"Content not avaiable. The server is blocked or not responding"
(translated from german)

But... (no fact without a 'but') the stream works perfect with my netbook and the RealPlayer SP. I tried a lot of apps and nearly every possibility, but I failed. I tried to get Pandora and Slacker, but these two apps are not avaiable in germany.

So my last hope is this forum. Is anyone out there with a solution for me? Would be much appreciated.

if you use EDGE, then enable javascript and embed media support in your Blackberry browser.

if you have problem in Wi-Fy, then
Open your Wi-Fi router settings and Enable DMZ for ip which set for blackberry
p.s.
you can find your ip in options->status.

Thanks for your reply. I made every necessary change you suggested, but neither via EDGE/3G nor via WIFI a connection was successful. So now I am really helpless. I'm sorry... I don't want to be ungrateful to you, but do you have any other ideas?

I just went through the trouble of setting up a audio/video RTSP stream and did get it to work on my Storm2.

Biggest problem I had was the BB is picky on the codec used inside the stream, and gives very little info about why it doesn't like the stream when it does have problems.

I found a list of supported media types on the BB:

Media types that are supported on the BlackBerry smartphone

Biggest gotcha I can see: The BB will play mp3's locally but can't play them via RTSP.

Do you know what the data format the stream uses? Sadly, the stream itself might have to be changed to get it to work.
