okay the thing is that I yesterday downgraded my phone to the 4.7 software because I was having problem with the end and return buttons not working. Then after resolving that issue I wanted to have back my old os again and there is the problem I cant upgrade back and My phone is missing things I remeber that if I toched the upper right side I accesed the conection now it does nothing. boot screen is also different and even slower. Phone is lower also icons are different. I dont know what Os i did have before but I have read that i cant upgrade to 5.0 because I dont have a data plan. is there is a 4.9 OS or something?

Maybe you should upgrade Os from pc.first,downloaded Os 5 from this forum.then follow the instruction for the upgrade.

Or (the correct answer) is that the original poster does not have BlackBerry Data Plan (per their first post) and that's why OS 5 will not install.

There is a long and complex process on how to load OS 5 if you don't have a data plan.

well is there any link with instruction on how to do that cause my bb used to have it and now I cant put it back
