I recently changed over to Blackberry from a range of other phones and so far am very impressed. I have the Storm II 9520.

I have however found a rather annoying glitch and can't seem to find how to stop this from happening. I'll send a text message or reply to one and type quite happily on the keyboard. It is set to full keyboard with no autocorrection. Then the next text it'll start to suggest words and autocorrect what i'm typing and inevitably mess up what i'm trying to say. I then try to change the keyboard settings and this doesn't help. After I remove the battery, replace and tehn restart the phone it goes back tot he way I had it originally set. Turning of the phone doesn't help, I have to remove the battery each time. VERY VERY annoying at the phone takes a while to start up.

It'll be fine for anything up to a day or two, or sometimes just a few messages and then it starts it's nonsense again. It's only been doing iot for the last week. Have had the phone a month now and have not connected to my computer or done any new updates for the last 3 weeks.

Can't seem to find anything asnywhere that relates closely enough to my problem. Any ideas out there?

Another thing I hav notice in the last week, I had had approximately 4 glitches where the screen becomes unresposive..... slow to respond and twice didn't respond at all, had to switch off then on again.

have been searching the net for hour upon hour and all i seem to find is more people with the same problem.

More common referred to as predictive text.
One suggestion was to delete all the words in the auto text list. I did this and it had no effect. However I did enable auto correction after this and so far I have been able to type without that irritating predictive text box messing up my messages.

I'll know by tomorrow how successful this has been. Comments read in the far reaches of the net have suggested this is a common glitch with OS 5. Perhaps someone knows how to down grade to a less glitchy version?

ok it's been a few weeks now and I've managed to keep the predictive text at bay. Steps I followed:
1 Upgrade / reload OS.
2 delete all auto text entries.
3 Set keyboard / input options to the way you want them.
4 Turn phone onto its side. ie: landscape and then go set the keyboard options again.

Since having done this last option, I haven't had predictive text come on. I figured if the problem is occuring because the phone gets used in lanscape then obviously the settings are separate for portrait and for landscape. So setting it in both modes should do the trick. Been about 13 days and so far so good.

still a problem and can't find any solutions. No one out there have any ideas at all????
