I just got a replacement BlackBerry Storm and now my GPS doesn't seem to be working. Apps like VZ Navigator and BlackBerry Maps cannot locate me. I have already gone into Options > Advanced Options > GPS and have the GPS Data Source set to "Device GPS," the GPS Services set to "Location On," and the Location Aiding set to "Enabled." I have also gone into the application permissions and changed everything to "allow." Still, it can't locate me. Oh, and I've dialed *228 and have updated my roaming capabilities. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is the device on BES or been on BES in the past? Might have an IT policy blocking it.

Are you outside with a clear view of the sky? Do you have a BB data plan properly activated? Try using Google Maps and get a position using cell tower data which should help GPS find itself.

If not, might try an OS upgrade. Other than that, call VZW and get a replacement.

Nope, not on a BES. I tried it from my car previously (and my apartment), but no luck there. Maybe I'll try it outside of my car, just in case. I do have the proper data plan. Thanks!
