Moved to the 9500 section.

Actually, the easiest way is to find a friend with a PC or run a Windows instance on the Mac using BootCamp or Parallels.

For the latest OS, please use the SEARCH feature or read the yellow sticky at the top of the 9500 section concerning OS and also the instructions for how to do it. Make sure you get an OS for your specific device.

Mac's can't run EXE files.
You cannot update an OS using a Mac and DM for Mac in the way a PC user would.
You can only update to the lastest official OS from your carrier for your device, as this is disaplyed in DM for Mac, by using your internet connection to find your model and carrier.

If its your carriers official release, you can do it from within DM on mac. Do a backup, go to DM, Applications. It should list the update/upgrade available. I've use DM on mac to upgrade my tour two versions now.

v_bhatnagar001,

I have done it on a Mac. But as Dubdub stated you will need to use Bootcamp to run Windows. If you have one of the newer dual core Intel chips in your Mac, Windows runs smooth, and faster than it does on a PC. It's not hard to set up at all. Once you have Windows installed, you can load the DM in perform all your necessary functions.

You can also buy one of those little netbooks to service your BB. I have an Asus eee PC that I purchased and tricked out (RAM upgrade, reformat, OS only, etc) for a little less than $400.
