Thumbs up Official OS 5.0.0.713 9550 Storm 2 for VERIZON released Jun 18

Please Login to Remove!

I got an email yesterday from Blackberry announcing the release of an Official OS 5.0.0.713 for Storm 2 9550 update.

Only immediate difference was the tactile feel of the screen, much better and lets me type SMS messages faster.

Although upon waking up sometimes it takes REAL long to let me enter my password. it lets me answer the phone immediately, so that SUPER LAG doesn't affect the phone side.

Go to BlackBerry - Update your Device Software

JSanders - I believe you missed the word "no". I just didn't want to see you be swamped with questions about what is different. Please correct me if I am wrong but there is no difference. The .713 release is the same across all vendors.

Thanks

Update Report:
It took about an hour and 45 minutes to update

Programs/Apps that worked with no problems:
Google Maps 4.0.2
Time Mobile
Player for YouTube
The Weather Channel
Thomson Reuters News
BlackBerry Messenger
BIS Email
City ID
Browser (speed is dependent on Verizon/location)
BlackBerry Maps

Programs/Apps that needed to have buttons pushed to reuse:
Poynt

Programs/APPs that need to be deleted and reloaded:
AP Mobile
Bing

If I didn't mention a program/app I don't use it.
