Have any of our remarkable geeks come up with an app equivalent to the droid app that allows you to text by swiping the keys for the storm?

Nope. IMO, I don't know if it will ever happen. It may be tricky to have a Swype equivalent for the BB Storm when you have to actually press down the screen to register a button push.

This is one of the factors leading me to the Droid X.

On the Storm you must pray for an O/S upgrade for something like this. On the Droid there are Apps that tweak different aspects of the phone.

I wish this occurred with the Storm.
