Unhappy Pay as you Go 3G for 9500

Please Login to Remove!

I recently inherited a Blackberry Storm
I've been doing a lot of research and all sources tell me the same thing, the Blackberry storm (Original) doesn't support Vodafone Pay as You Go Internet, now if it was the storm 2 this would be no problem, Wi-Fi support... but the Storm 1 doesn't have Wi-Fi which makes getting apps a nightmare and setting up close to impossible... so I ask,

Is there a way I can get 3G Pay as you go Vodafone on the storm - I don't care if I have to use third party software
Any other advice would also be greatly appreciated

With the storm 2 it would still be a problem.

No, you need a blackberry data plan, which only Orange offer on PAYG.

A Breakthrough

So far then my current option is to unlock it and go orange for a data plan?
I can't find any blackberry data plans on the vodafone site anyway and Id prefer to stay with vodafone, can anyone help on this aspect?

Yes, if you want to stay with PAYG.

Vodafone don't call it a "blackberry data plan", I believe its Blackberry Email; but I could only find it when looking at buying a BB, and it will show the plans that have BB data with them.

Vodafone ony offer them on contract; so to stay with vodafone you would need a contract.

Best bet, call them up.
