Default Screen issues

Please Login to Remove!

My Storm started giving me issues today. It will no longer "click". This is making it very difficult to use. The screen does still press down some because I can see it move. It will not however, "click". Some parts of the screen I can make go to what I am trying to do, but for a majority of it, it does not click. The sensor is still working as it will highlight what I touch. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Ok, like in your instructions in #1 where it says "click" Options and in #2 it says "click" Screen/Keyboard? I believe my phone is having a physical issue. It will not click. Even when the phone is off, it will not click when pressing the screen down.

Have you tried a battery pull? With the phone on, remove the battery for 30 seconds and reinstall.

Let me know if that worked.

No, a battery pull does not work. This seems to be a hardware issue and not software. I have the Assurion insurance through Verizon and I filed a claim. Should have a replacement tomorrow. Wish it could have lasted until the 15th, That is when I will be getting the Droid X. Cost me $50 for the replacement. I'll just make that up by selling it on EBay after I get the X.
