Default 9550 and russian keyboard blank

I hope someone can help. I installed the Russian keyboard on my Storm 9550, the russian keyboard displays properly for emails, phone calls, etc, but when I go to type an SMS message in russian the keyboard is blank.

Anyone have any idea?

The way I fixed it was to go into Blackberry Desktop Manager and reload the russian keyboard

Hope you get it workiing
