Wirelessly posted

You need a blackberry data plan. If you already have a blackberry data plan, then the problem is the service books have not been pushed to the device yet. ... Perhaps you haven't updated your BIS to the new device PIN etc.

I had the same problem on my 9520 from T-Mobile and have a data plan just email T-Mobile telling them the problem, they will send you an email with a link to update your service books, I did this and it was sorted, by the way I am with T-Mobile uk

Please update your profile to show the current device , if it is indeed a 9520.

Assuming that you have a BB data plan, make sure that you have registered the new IMEI and PIN with your BIS account and resend the service books as mentioned by aiharkness.

1 what is your phone carrier?
2,call them and ask them to put the BB Data service on your sim card if they support prepaid bb service with Bis.

Ollin, welcome to BBF. And it is considered bad forum manners to hijack another's thread, especially if you have a different device and different situation than the OP.

Well first of all thanks for the welcome and about the rest of your comment, is the very first time that someone tells me that, as the rule is usually to not make a new question but to read first, as i encounter the same situation than the OP (only the work email option), then i wanted to clarify if i understood correctly... i know you are the moderator here and i'm just new in this forum, but certainly not new to the internet or to the moderation in fora (i moderated for a long time in other kind of fora)... anyway... next time then...
