Ok I've had the BB Storm 2 for a while now and want to make it my only phone. Here's my question I want to keep the main number I use which is the one associated to my 2G iphone and have that number ported to my BB Storm. I already have a BB Data plan( associated with my BB number) it's BIS by the way so is it possible ? All my family and all my contacts have the iPhone number and so i want to keep it the same when i talked with a few At&t people they don't want to touch my storm. I'm used to touch screens and don't want to change to a bold. Any advice appreciated.

Your number is connected to the SIM card, not the phone.
If you have 2 SIM cards from the same carrier, they are unlikely to be able to swap the number from one to other.
Easiest way is to use the iphone sim card, but call them and have them change the plan to BB data.

After taking it into the At&t store they got my voicemail and phone info transferred. But they screwed up and suspended my blackberry acct and they did'nt tell me. I was'nt happy to say the least when I called At&t technical support and the noobies at the store would'nt do anymore for me. Thank goodness the At&t tech wizards on the phone fixed it where the store people would'nt they got me up and running and I had a good rep walk me thru it staying with me on the call all the way.Thankyou At&t that phone dude deserves a raise he did'nt judge me he helped me turn a bad moment into a good one.
