Default My Storm says it is low on app memory, but Memory applications say otherwise.

My Storm is quite low on app memory. I've removed most of the apps I have downloaded off of the device. But even when I do a battery pull, the Options>Memory says I have only 16 MB free. But when I look at the memory statistics of 3rd party memory monitoring apps, they say i have about 45-50 MB free. I am getting that reading from more than one app, which leads me to believe them and not the installed Memory monitor. Now I know that the BB Storm doesn't have too much memory to begin with, but it should not be this low after I have removed most of my 3rd party apps. Is there anything I can do apart from a fresh install.
