Default predictive text is different for SMS and Email

Please Login to Remove!

My predictive text when I'm sending an SMS is crap. I try to type Singapore, which is a piece of cake when I'm typing an email - it immediately recognises sing and then I select from the dropdown of options - however, when I'm texting and I hit the same keys it comes up with aunh and it only gets worse from there. I have to delete and retype it a few times before it identifies "sing".

Another example, which is really annoying is that I can't type "i" when I'm texting, it comes up as "u" and need to delete and retype for it to recognise it as "i".

Can anyone help?

Thanks a ton,
Daniel
