Whenever I try to set up email account on device, the message I do receive is setup encounter a problem wit my device. Also the blackberry enterprise server is not yet activated. I hav a data plan on d device. I can browse and do other things on it but I can not integrate my yahoo, gmail etc account.
Pls somebody should please me out on what to do.

Just to be clear, you do have the data service specifically for blackberry, correct?

If so, do a hard rest and then try again.

To do a hard reset, with the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds.

Thanks aiharkness, hav done what you advise but having same problem.
Whenever I click on email setup the message I always receive is 'your device encounter a problem with the application server' the hard test isn't working please. What can I do to setup and integrate my emails with my bb

You didn't answer the question about whether you have a BlackBerry Data Plan.

Confirm with your service provider that you have a BlackBerry data plan....i.e. service for BlackBerry. Regular mobile data service is not the same thing and inadequate for what you want to do.
