Currently on 5.0.0.1656/5.0.0.1015 straight from Verizon but it seems very unstable. At least 1-2/day we have to pull the battery from either being sluggish or loosing reception and get an SOS only message.

So my question is.....do you think it is a hardware issue or a software issue?


She is a light user basically Facebook, phone calls, texting and a little browser usage.

i didn't have any kind of issues like that on the latest os for 9550

How long has this been happening? What did you do just before it started.

Could be too many data intensive apps running in the back ground.

My experience... I've tried all of the OS releases for the 9550, beta and official, and 5.0.0.1015 still ranks at the top. If you want to downgrade, I think it was .703 or .713 might have been second best in my opinion.
