Like any memory based device the error indicates not enough space to allocate for the upgrade. you may need to backup the media and remove some apps before the upgrade.
On a PC it's called swap space.
check in tools for the amount left. it needs to be at least 48meg for the upgrade. once you do get the memory up keep in mind it is a slow process and may take some time.
