I think that is a reasonable estimate under contract.

I say $299 the first year, then they bring out the 'Thunder2' and drop the price to $199 (but add a $10/mo 'Thunder Convenience Surcharge' to your bill.

Oh its VZW you can bet on 299 to 399. Carrier exclusive, "most advanced" BB to date, OS 4.7? Definately 3-400$

299.99 seems like a correct estimate. highest at 349.99, but i doubt it.

Don't you guys think $199 would be more reasonable? That's the first thing people would bring up when comparing it to the iPhone.

I don't think it'll be more than $299 because of the iPhone. RIM and VZW are not stupid. They know the phone will be directly compared to the iPhone so they have to price it competitively.

If they have a quota to make they better make it reasonable. To many curves, pearls and 8830 out there still working good. When you really think about it what can the thunder do that these other bb will not do. Especially with the 4.5 upgrade do out in sept.

This post was funny (to me, at least) because it describes the method that Apple used to bring the iPhone to market....

Nothing costs $299 anymore if you haven't noticed. Probably 250 or more likely 199. Remember what it is competing with and what a micro-sd will cost you.

Bear in mind that Rogers just price the Bold at $399 with a 3-year contract. I think Verizon will price the Thunder closer to $400. With a contract.

Yes, but don't forget how Rogers likes to rape their customers.

Kind of hard to compare a Canadian Carrier to a US Carrier don't you think? I bet it will be $199 With a Two Year
