It's there. It's in the Applications folder. You can move it.

I always hide mine anyways, so I never miss it.

It isn't there. Is there any way to get it back?

Hmmm, might be hidden (I didn't think it was on mine out of the box). It's definitely there somewhere.

Hit the menu button and make sure that Show All is selected. It's icon is a single phone handset in profile.

I just hit the green "answer" phone button next to the menu button when I want to use the phone.

The 'Phone' icon was deprecated starting with the introduction of the dedicated Send/End buttons on all models.
It was replaced with the 'Call Log' icon and, in my opinion, is a complete waste of space.

It looks like a telephone handset, and depending on your Theme it might actually be called 'Phone' instead of Call Log.

Mine is called 'Phone' and is in the Applications folder. Verizon Zen theme. OS 4.7.1.40.

And you should be able to press the space bar to get into the phone/call log application....so no need for an icon.

Read the posts above... specifically the ones about the icon possibly being hidden.

Why do you even want this icon? It's useless.

I don't have it either. Huh. I'm glad it's gone, too. Waste of space IMHO, especially with the dedicated Send key. My space bar does nothing either.
