Default Trouble tethering VZW Tour to Vista PC?

Please Login to Remove!

I had no trouble tethering my VZW Tour to an XP PC, but I can't get it to work on a Vista PC. The Vista PC recognizes the Tour, but the VZW Access Manager software cannot detect it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Access Manager, to no avail.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

No problems for me on Vista. Are you sure you're using the latest version of VZWAM? Did you download it from the web site?

Thanks for the suggestion. I do have the latest version of the Verizon Access Manager software.

Fortunately, yesterday I was able to solve the problem by following the steps on this Microsoft page:

You receive an error message if you try to start the Phone and Modem Options tool in Control Panel on a Windows XP-based computer
