just a few questions before i get the tour...

1- how is the aol instant messenger on this phone? i use this alot and it is important that it is good...
2- how are the facebook/myspace/twitter apps? i know some of you may not think they are perfect, but im really not too picky...any flaws or things to improve though?

i tried searching these topics but didnt get a straight answer...

also, i would like to know you guys think that needs to be improved on this phone, and maybe a possible reason to get a different blackberry or phone...im quite a newbie and dont really know a ton about blackberrys...

thanks for all your help guys

Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

The apps work fine. An issue for some which you will learn from your environment is signal strength and connectivity issues in certain places.

also, the general sentiment is that it is better to log in to facebook via browser than the current app in terms of ease/full use.

UberTwitter is awesome.

I don't use Facebook too much but I find the app to be acceptable.

The SMS is just OK IMO but I used to use a WinMo phone and the threaded texting on it was awesome compared to the BB. Hopefully they will get the BB 5.0 OS out soon and the SMS will improve.

All apps are awesome in my opinion, everything seems to load faster than the previous 8300 series
