This is a hard decision.... I'm a happy Curve user for 2+ years. Hated the Storm1 just playing with it in the stores but the 2 is intriguing.

Touch screen or no TouchScreen. Storm 2 will have 5.0 but so will Tour shortly.

I would guess that if you hated the Storm 1, you'll hate the Storm 2. Your only safe way is to wait until the Storm 2 comes out, play with it in store, and the figure out which one you like better.

I hated the Storm when I had it. Lasted all of about 2 weeks until I kicked it to the curb. If Sprint would get the Storm 2 I'd take another look, but they'd have to make the virtual keypad MUCH better than it's been so far, or else it's a total non-starter with me. As sexy as that big beautiful screen may be, without a great keypad it's useless, IMHO.

I have both the Storm (BES) and the Tour (BIS, weekend phone). Storm 1 definitely had 'issues' before .148 update.

I like them each for different reasons. The bigger screen on the storm helps my 45+ year old eyes with email and business correspondence during the week. And i use the Tour on week ends and vacations because of the smaller size (and 2nd mobile number only a few people have).

For me I am not sure I could go back to a smaller screen as my main work device.

Definitely looking to update to the Storm 2 if it lives up to expectations.

Depends on what you're using the phone for.

For fun/personal use, give the Storm2 a try - it'll probably be cool.

If you need it for work (high volume of messaging & a need for stability/reliability) go with a Tour

The Tour isn't giving me a sense of "stablility/reliability". Sure more people post their problems than their good experiences....but still. For all I know the Storm2 will be even worse.

I see a lot of shrugging off of the Storm as if it doesn't do everything the Tour does. For "fun/personal use"....as if a mature adult couldn't possibly use a touchscreen and maintain their dignity.

I use my phone for lots of emails and texting. As far as I can see I'm gaining a larger screen, WiFi, more memory, and a few other things in exchange for the loss of the hard keypad.

I'm no fan of touchscreens. I love my Curve keypad. I wasn't as fond of the Tour's, but I'm sure I would adjust easily. Maybe I'm giving too much credence to the 3 YouTube videos from that annoying guy, but the Storm2 seems to be a vast improvement from the Storm1...especially the touchscreen.

As of now I'm leaning Storm2...but that changes daily. I'll likely get the Storm2 and give it an honest go, and ditch it within 30 days if I don't like it.
