Default Tour and Outlook 2003 Sync Issue.

Please Login to Remove!

I recently switched from a Curve to Tour and upgraded my desktop software to V5.0. My Tour will not sync with my Outlook 2003 and when I try to configure Sync, I get the error msg "Microsoft outlook connector Error - No Message Stores Found"

I've been on all over the net for a solution for the past 3 weeks. Nothing works.Never had an issue when i had the Curve. The following two posts did not help either:

SLB: Fixed! No Available Message Stores - Blackberry Synchronization Error

BlogoogleTech: Blackberry error msg: "No available message stores"

It will be of great help if some one could help me fix this issue. Thank you all for your valuable time in advance. Please help me.

I found this on the BB Support Forums:

1. Use BlackBerry® Desktop Manager to back up the data on the BlackBerry smartphone.
2. Clear the Calendar database on the BlackBerry smartphone.
3. Perform the synchronization again.

For more information on backing up data on a BlackBerry smartphone, see KB11297 in the BlackBerry Technical Solution Center. For more information on how to clear databases on a BlackBerry smartphone, see KB10167

Thank you for the reply. But that did not work either, the problem persists.

Default Voila !! I fixed it !!

This issue can be fixed by simply deleting your current Outlook profile and then recreating a new one. Check out the article for doing so:

Adding/Recreating a Mail Profile | HowTo-Outlook

I deleted and recreated a new profile and ver 5.0 of Desktop Manager seamlessly Syncs with my Outlook 2003. I'm so happy !!

You might try downgrading from Desktop Manager 5 to v.4.7 instead. I recommend the version of 4.7 without Roxio Media Manager.

Are you connecting via a HUB? If so connect directly into the BB.

I concur with Rambo on reverting to DM 4.7. Never had a problem with 5.0 myself, but have seen and heard of it. Another point, try removing your SD card.
