Default Picture deletion on Tour 9630

Please Login to Remove!

I am having problems with deleting pictures off my Tour 9630. I deleted two pictures off of my phone. The pictures do not appear in my Picture Folders but a thumbnail still appears in the All Pictures Folder. When I try to delete it it asks..."The selected file is read only. Are you sure you wish to delete the file?" I click on yes..but the file does not delete.

Can anyone help me with deleting this file from my phone.

thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Remove the battery for 30 seconds.

On the picture hit the menu button and go to properties and see if you can uncheck read only. And then try deletings it. (If the battery pull does not work)

Normally, you can just click and delete. I am not certain why a pix would say read only.

Just wondering if the picture was transferred previously from a PC and was read-only at the time. Don't know if that would make a difference.
