I would like my phone to ring till I push the button to answer. Right now it stops ringing as I pull it from the holster. Anyway to change that setting. I have been messing with it all day & can't seem to figure it out. Thanks

no, its like when you have a long ringtone for an email, and you hear it, its half way through and once pulled from the holster, the tone stops.
because it recognises that you are holding/using the device.
the call will still be disaplyed, it just wont tone.

My ring tone only plays around 3 seconds. I had a skin on it & it kept ringing till I pushed the answer button. Today I put it in the case & it stops playing my ring tone as I am sliding it out of the holster.

are you sure its just not finished by the time you take it out of the holster?
a 3 second ringtone isn't very long.

also, yes a skin is just that, a holster has a magnet to put it to sleep.
moving the device triggers the phone to come back from sleep as it moves from the magnet.

why would you want the phone to keep ringing?

I believe the sleeper magnet in the case causes the phone to stop ringing. When you pull the BB our of the case the magnet interacts with the phone, taking it out of sleep mode. Changing the phone's state between sleeping and not sleeping is the equivalent of pressing a button to mute the device when it rings out of the holster. Currently there is no workaround for this other than to not use a holster with a sleeper magnet.
