HELP! NO BES Option!
 
I bought a new BOLD yesterday with Verizon and when I got to email setup, I saw both options (create or add an email address, and use a work email account with BES) However, I added my personal gmail account first, and now when I try to add my work email, the second option (BES) is no longer there! Under SERVICES STATUS, it says the BES is not connected. Can somebody help me with this? I's difficult to search for this on this forum.

options - advanced options - Enterprise activation (i believe its called)
you can enter the appropriate details of the server there.

Also make sure you have the correct data plan. You need to have a BES data plan or else the correct Service Books won't be sent to the device.

I'm having this problem also and I've even checked under Options - Advanced Options and I still don't have Enterprise Activation listed. Verizon has said the phone is setup with BES. Anyone with any suggestions???

verzion lied to you. you are most likely on a personal data plan and you need enterprise data.

Initially when I received the phone and started setting up for BES, the phone gave me the option for Enterprise Activation but it just hung there. Believe I may have put in the wrong password or the internet was not working yet because I couldn't get a webpage to load. Since then, have not been able to get back to that screen to try again.

Thoughts?
Really appreciated the quick response.

contact verizon. the only reason the option would not appear is if u have an incorrect data plan.

Thank you. Contacted Verizon and they after much verified that .... the phone was not provisioned correctly.
