i have a pretty straight forward question....or so i think. i have a verizon BB Tour and am with AT&T. i put my SIM card in and everything works fine. it is unlocked and activated. However, i can not access the internet or even see a browser icon. i am sure this has to do with using a Verizon phone with AT&T subscription. Is there anyway around this? Also, any recommendations on the BB 8900 over the Tour? Many thanks.

Do you have an AT&T BlackBerry data plan? If you have this, then the trick is to get it associated with your Tour. Log into your BIS page at AT&T, enter the PIN and IMEI numbers so they can associate your data plan with that particular devices, register it with the AT&T network via Host Routing Tables on the BB (Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Tables), then send your service books (also from that BIS page).
