I frequently listen to my music files loaded onto my Micro SD card or Pandora Radio. I always have my headset plugged in (the basic one that came with the device) when listening.

Each time that I get a phone call, in this mode, I do not hear any ringing. The only thing that happens is that my music stops playing. If I did not look at the screen I would not know there was an incoming call. The music would resume if I did not pick up the phone.

If I am not playing music, then the hand-set speaker will give the audible ring tone, but still nothing over the hands free device.

I cannot find any settings to make the ringing come through the headset.

Is this supposed to function like this?

I do think it works that way, mine for example will play music through the headset but if an alarm sounds off the alarm sounds through the phones speaker.

Agreed...this is probably the one 'bug' of the Tour's that irritates me the most.
