I store a fair amount of reference material on my SD card. The only way I see to access it is to compose an email and then look for files to attach. There has to be something that I am missing here. Is there some way to browse the files on my device?

Or get a program called bbfilescout. In OS 5, there is actually an icon called "Files" that does just that as well.

Wow, never used that. Thanks. Only issue now is that when I go there to open a file I get "unable to open file" error. Also, there is a 5.0 beta? Can't wait to get home to try this.

Pdf's. They work when I open the attachment from email (where I sent them to myself to store them).

Thats cause BB's don't have a PDF reader installed unless you have some like Doc's to go premium. You can see them in your email because they have a ability to convert and display them while in the email. If you download it to your device you won't be able to open it.
