Is there a way to turn off the email (then back on) while keeping the phone on to receive calls? There are times when I want my Outlook to get the mail, not the phone.

only way is to log onto the BIS, click edit in the account you want to turn off.
in advanced (i think it is) you uncheck the "forward to handheld" box.
you need to go back and recheck when you want emails to your device.

Manage Connections > Mobile Network Options > Data Services = Off.

When you turn it back on, you will not get the email you missed forwarded to your BlackBerry. What got delivered while you had data services off won't suddenly come flooding into your inbox when you turn data services back on.

This is not true if the user is on BES.

You BES users get all the breaks!
